As a Senior Systems Developer you will be a key member of this team, responsible for developing system‑based solutions, programming, maintaining code, documenting processes, and supporting team members through training and guidance. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of cohesive plans to determine technologies and options for working solutions. Develop new code and leverage existing code to implement medium to large‑complexity system features. Create implementation and troubleshooting plans for single systems. Identify and recommend solutions for application defects, determine root causes, and minimize the introduction of new defects. Perform unit testing and manage small to medium‑sized initiatives, providing guidance to junior team members. Technological Skills Modern Angular (1+), Node.js with Express and TypeScript for APIs Bootstrap and responsive layouts Reactive programming with RxJS Git version control Unit and end‑to‑end testing with Playwright Internationalization (i18n) and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility Third‑party API integration and design‑system usage Experience with at least one Guidewire product (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter) Experience with Guidewire plugins, Message Broker, REST/SOAP services is an asset How You Will Succeed Innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies with a client‑centric focus. Critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and propose solutions. Strong communication skills to convey ideas and explore diverse viewpoints. Build trusting relationships and guide colleagues toward development. Qualifications & Experience Five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field. Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Requirements Occasional travel. Rotational on‑call schedule, including evenings and weekends.
