Location Address: 44 King Street W 10th Floor (or 888 Birchmount location in Scarborough) – hybrid – in-person 2x a week Contract Duration: 6 months Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week Story Behind the Need Business group: GTEP - Service Management Technology Project: ServiceNow Transformation project - The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies for the ServiceNow Platform. These positions are required as part of the ServiceNow Transformation project to migrate APM from the legacy instance. Candidate Value Proposition The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a highly visible project and would get the chance to further enhance their skills with the ServiceNow platform. Typical Day in Role Experience in design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for IRM processes. Customize and configure ServiceNow IRM module to meet business requirements. Set up and manage integrations between ServiceNow IRM and other internal/external systems using various methods (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server). Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow IRM module, including Policy and Compliance Management. Design and build IRM workflows, scoring methodologies, entity scoping, and Risk Assessment Methodologies (RAM). Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance to ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and IRM trends, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation within the platform. Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation and operation of the IRM solutions. Ensure that all IRM solutions comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies. Develop and manage script objects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Flows/Workflows. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills 10 years of overall working experience with 7+ years of experience as a developer/analyst/solution designer 3+ years of development experience with ServiceNow platform with proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and workflow development (hands on experience developing ServiceNow) 3+ years of experience with Service Catalogue Nice-To-Have Skills Experience working with / Knowledge of Drive Value with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) 3.0 – CMDB and Service Graph Working knowledge of CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Financial industry experience Experience working on integrations Education A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science Best VS.
