Job Title: ServiceNow DeveloperLocation: Toronto, ON (3x onsite a week)Employment Type: Full TimeJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will specialize in Asset, Discovery, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role is crucial in enhancing and optimizing our IT asset tracking, discovery processes, and configuration management capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement custom solutions within ServiceNow for Asset, Discovery, and CMDB modulesConfigure and customize ServiceNow to align with our asset/configuration management and discovery processesDevelop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems for comprehensive asset and configuration managementCreate and optimize workflows, business rules, and scripts to automate asset and discovery processesImplement and maintain the CMDB to ensure accurate and up-to-date IT asset informationDevelop custom reports and dashboards for asset visibility and management insightsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsConduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including creating and maintaining Automated Test Framework (ATF) scriptsProvide technical analysis and recommendations for improving Asset, Discovery, and CMDB processesDocument all development work, system designs, and operational proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on Asset, Discovery, and CMDB modules. Extensive understanding of the ways in which ServiceNow can be configured and customized and scripting within the toolExperience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through API. SOAP, REST and/or JSON web services.Proven track record of developing custom applications and integrations within ServiceNowStrong understanding of asset/configuration management principles and best practicesExperience with ServiceNow’s Automated Testing Framework (ATF)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex situationsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNowExperience with agile development methodologiesExperience with Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Catalog Item DesignerCertifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and technical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAttention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverablesAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
