Director, Finance Salary: $160,000 - $190,000/year, based on experience Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Role We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on director of finance to lead the finance function within a growing, fast‑paced organization. Reporting directly to the CFO and acting as a key member of the Leadership Team, this role is responsible for driving financial performance, strengthening internal processes, and supporting long‑term business growth. This position is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in operational environments and enjoys partnering closely with senior leadership to support informed decision‑making. Responsibilities Oversee all finance functions including accounting, reporting, treasury, compliance, and FP&A Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and present insights to leadership Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes Collaborate cross‑functionally to support cost optimization and operational efficiencies Support strategic planning initiatives, including multi‑year financial modeling Monitor cash flow, debt levels, and compliance with banking covenants Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory reporting requirements Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors and advisors Manage, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in a senior finance or leadership role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation considered an asset Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in wholesale apparel or an inventory‑driven environment Background in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or similar industries is an asset Proven leadership and people‑management skills Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven What’s in It for You Hybrid work environment Flexible working hours ⏰ Comprehensive group insurance benefits
