Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer at G2S Consulting Inc. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil samples, and performing geotechnical engineering tasks. They will also be involved in engineering geology and foundation design projects. The role can be based out of our Burlington or Stouffville offices, with flexibility for some remote work.


Qualifications

  • Managing site investigations
  • Preparation of concise geotechnical reports
  • 4+ years experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in southern Ontario
  • Knowledge of foundation design principles and slope stability projects
  • Write and review proposals for clients in various sectors
  • Project management
  • Supervise, guide and review work of junior staff
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Experience in the environmental consulting industry is a plus
  • Undergraduate Degree in Civil/Geological Engineering with registration as a P.Eng. in Ontario
