Within the Power Delivery subsector, the Transmission group supports the design of medium to extra high voltage overhead transmission lines, their structures, foundations, and related facilities. This position offers hands‑on experience in power delivery, contributing to projects that keep communities connected and powered. You’ll work on fun and challenging projects and initiatives, and you’ll find the support, coaching, and training it takes to advance your career. Your Impact Support the design and delivery of transmission line projects, studies, and initiatives across Canada and the US. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for power delivery systems. Prepare technical drawings, models, reports, and calculations that influence project decisions. Apply engineering principles to real‑world challenges in energy infrastructure and sustainability. What You’ll Bring To WSP Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Valid Class 5 driver’s license. Strong interest in consulting engineering and the power delivery industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite. Legal authorization to work permanently in Canada without work sponsorship. The Skills That Set You Apart Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD or other design/analysis software. Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or electrical engineering, is desirable. Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
