Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead with expertise in SAP HANA, Finance modules, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to lead end-to-end testing efforts for SAP implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality SAP solutions by designing test strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and validating system functionality against business requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of SAP Finance processes and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables for SAP HANA and Finance modules (FI, CO, etc.).

- Define test strategies aligned with project goals, covering SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.

- Lead SIT to validate integrations between SAP Finance, HANA, and external systems (e.g., CRM, HR).

- Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and financial reporting requirements.

- Document test scenarios, cases, and scripts for end-to-end business processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable).

- Partner with SAP functional/technical teams, business analysts, and end-users to translate requirements into testable workflows.

- Facilitate defect triage meetings, track issues in tools like JIRA/HP ALM, and ensure timely resolution.

- Ensure adherence to QA standards, SOX controls, and audit requirements for financial systems.

- Provide real-time test status updates, metrics, and risk assessments to project leadership.

- Guide junior testers and offshore teams on best practices for SAP testing.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

- 5+ years in SAP testing, with 2+ years as a Test Lead.

- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, SAP FI/CO, and integration with modules like SD, MM, or PP.

- Proven track record in managing SIT/UAT for large-scale SAP projects.

- Proficiency in testing tools (HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager, JIRA).

- Knowledge of SAP testing automation tools (e.g., Worksoft, Tricentis) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

- SAP Activate, ISTQB, or SAP S/4HANA certifications.

- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.

- Knowledge of financial compliance standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
