The Solutions Integration and Delivery (SI&D) organization leads and oversees programs to ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. SI&D works closely with global CIOs and business lines to deliver secure, agile, and cost-effective enterprise solutions, managing intake into GTEP, coordinating global and cloud-based services, and supporting a full-stack model to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions that drive business value and competitive advantage. Responsibilities Leads, directs, and drives a customer-focused culture throughout the Solutions Delivery team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Accountable for delivering GTEP (Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms) projects/programs to CIO teams globally, through oversight of their initiatives including financials. Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, coaching, communicating vision/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning. Responsible for managing ~5-10 direct reports. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring day-to-day business controls to meet obligations related to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Enhance and evolve reporting of the SI&D Project and Programs to build visibility and transparency in technology delivery and manage escalations with urgency and transparency when required. Promotes partnership and collaboration within GTEP and with business partners and LOBs. Ensures Staff Objectives and Development Plans are maintained consistently. Ensures that the Enterprise Delivery Framework is followed, and any deviations are rationalized to Sponsors and agreed acceptable risk. Provides oversight to the co-management of vendors and third parties, where applicable, by ensuring their role is understood by the teams. Qualifications Ability to work under tight timelines and competing priorities Knowledge of banking industry Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., CFTC, OSFI) 5-10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, managing large complex technology projects and programs with significant IT and operational components 5-10 years’ experience with staff and resource management skills Comprehensive knowledge of program and project management methodologies Comprehensive knowledge of technology platforms/systems (e.g., Mid-Range, Cloud, Host, MS) Portfolio Management is an asset Bachelor’s degree in business or technology PMP Designation is an asset Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset What’s in it for you?
