Senior Manager, Canadian Resource Centre (CRC) – Data and Analytics Join KPMG Canada as a full‑time Senior Manager in the CRC National Management team. The role supports audit business units and the CRC Champions network D&A Center with monthly reporting, budget modelling, and direct guidance to off‑shore and on‑shore teams. The position requires travel and work from India. Responsibilities What You Will Do Operations Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence with the CRC national management team and CDST team. Provide direct support to audit engagement teams so they can effectively leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their engagements. Assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and overseeing the implementation of solutions to ensure the highest audit quality and deliverables. Prepare training materials, how‑to guides, monthly/quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal. Leverage firm processes and programs to ensure active support of the business. Data & Analytics Identify potential new services, offerings, and tools to enhance the experience of audit engagement teams using the CRC. Perform annual budgeting, forecasting and hours/FTE modelling using various data analytic programs. Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development. Work closely with the onshore national CRC team, CDST team, and offshore management team to ensure sufficient fulfiller licensing and restrict access to security groups. Review and approve requests for access to standard software and technology tools used by offshore delivery team members (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, PowerBI). Other Expected to be a performance manager to more junior team members. Willingness to travel internationally and ability to obtain requisite business traveler visa/work permits for India. May be required to create, interpret and/or apply policies, practices, laws and/or regulations during the regular course of employment. Must be able to start the day earlier or work later than normal office hours to allow for overlap with the offshore management team. Qualifications Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent. 8+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role. Senior manager or equivalent, having at least 2 years with KPMG Canada. Minimum 5 years auditing and team management experience. Diploma or bachelor’s in computer science, database management or programming (or equivalent). Proficiency with databases including SQL, MySQL, Oracle. Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate. Proficiency with ServiceNow is an asset. Resourcefulness and creative problem‑solving skills. Strong technical audit skills and varied audit experience. Excellent time‑management and organisational skills. Knowledge of data extraction tools and utilities. Bi‑lingual in French and English is an asset. Superior written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience facilitating Audit Foundations courses offered by KBS is an asset. Strong ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Thrives in a fast‑paced, challenging team‑based environment. Values innovative thinking and looks for ways to improve processes. Demonstrated mentoring and performance‑management skills. Independent ownership of tasks and responsibilities. Advanced skills with MS Office and Adobe products. Written and oral fluency in English is required. Pay Range The expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, competencies and unique qualifications.
