Join us to contribute to a diverse range of inspiring projects in a collaborative, supportive environment The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Architectural Technologist for a full-time role. This position offers a hybrid work-from-home schedule (following a 3-month in-office probationary period) and the opportunity to lead projects of varying scales through all phases of design and construction. Key Responsibilities Design & Documentation: Create and develop high-quality architectural presentations and comprehensive working drawings. Consultant Coordination: Lead coordination with consultants while ensuring the original design intent remains uncompromised. Approvals: Prepare building permit applications and ensure strict compliance with the OBC and municipal zoning by-laws. Project Management: Manage deliverables, timelines, and progress schedules. Technical Detailing: Develop technical drawings and detailing, specifically for building envelopes in cold climates. Contract Administration: Perform field reviews and provide CA services during the construction phase. Qualifications The ideal candidate is self-motivated, meticulous, and possesses: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a diploma in Architectural Technology. Software: A minimum of 3 consecutive years of proficient, demonstrable use of Revit. Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience within an architectural practice. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems, envelope detailing, and the Ontario Building Code (OBC). Leadership: Ability to lead team members and interact confidently with clients, consultants, and vendors. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per annum (commensurate with experience). Work-Life Balance: Flexible hybrid working environment.
