Responsibilities Act as Integration Architect: You will coordinate and direct teams of business analysts, functional analysts, and developers in all phases of systems implementations, upgrades or migrations. Manage advisor consultants in the choice of solutions and tools supporting their respective scope (e.g., choice of building blocks/scope items, benefits and limitations). Ensure the integrity and integration of the solution components retained in adherence to the business scope. Assist the functional consultants in the definition and construction of the solution in preparation for Fit to Standard workshops. Support workshops and challenge the gaps, as well as solutions proposed to those gaps. Investigate, diagnose and solve complex SAP project problems quickly. Ensure new SAP landscapes and solutions are designed and architected to be cost‑effective, scalable, and best‑in‑class solution delivery to all users. Act as Solution Architect: Build new systems needed by your client by identifying the business’s current capabilities and future technological goals by creating, designing, and implementing well‑defined solutions that are aligned with the envisioned business solution and scope of your client. Act as Pre‑sales Expert and Industry Lead: Provide advice on technologies that deliver business results and benefits to customers, while demonstrating the added value of your expertise and solutions. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or software engineering. At least 10 years of experience with SAP implementations on the modules SAP Retail and experience with S/4HANA. Participation in pre‑sales activities, blue‑printing/Explore/Fit to Standard and integration activities. Strong business acumen. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Very knowledgeable in the Consumer Industry market, especially the Retail segment. High‑energy individual who can adapt easily to different environments and project phases with leadership. Able to address objections with confidence and determination. Strategic and tactical with excellent planning and execution skills. Collaborative. Compliance‑oriented and results‑driven. NO candidates with advanced technical skills (Abap, CPI, …). Integration requires the ability to architect, design, and guide the functional team on all functional pieces of the scope (Master data, merchandising, P2P, O2C, Logistics/warehousing, Manufacturing, Omnichannel, …). It is for someone used to designing functional architecture and solution integration (CORE SAP ERP + Satellite systems integrated according to best practices processes and technologies). Why Syntax?
