Painter Supervisor

Work location: Various locations in Vancouver Mainland
As a Painter Supervisor, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
Overseeing and coordinating the activities of painting crews, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Assigning tasks to painting crews, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Training new painters and providing ongoing coaching and development to improve their skills and efficiency.
Inspecting work to ensure that it meets quality standards and customer expectations. Addressing any issues or deficiencies promptly.
Ordering painting supplies, maintaining an inventory of materials, and ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Ensuring that all painting activities comply with safety regulations and that painters are trained in proper safety procedures.
Communicating with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the painting services provided.
Keeping detailed records of work performed, including labor hours, materials used, and project progress.
Generating reports for management as needed.
Requirements:
Must have at least a high school diploma;
Must be comfortable and capable of working at heights in various weather conditions in order to perform site inspections;
Must have a minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a painter/decorator which some of it must be supervisory;
Weight Handling up to 23 kg.
Must have experience with multi-color finishes, powder coating, paint spraying, wallpaper, drywall taping/patching, Staining, Glazing;
Craftsmanship and manual dexterity is a must;
Must have attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination;
Reliability, Initiative, Flexibility, Team player.
