Reason for the position The incumbent is the direct contact with customers. He is, among other things, responsible for tracking orders from receipt to shipping. He must also respond to various customer requests, transmit them to the appropriate departments and, as the case may be, follow up on them until resolved.
Primary ResponsibilitiesManage schedule changes in collaboration with planning. Respond to customer requests on a daily basis. Monitor work in progress to keep customers informed of the progress of their orders. Negotiate the best possible delivery and condition for both parties when necessary and send documentation to customers. Report to the organization any market information that may have an impact on the business. Nature and scope: The incumbent is the link between customers, production and administration, while respecting the company's business process. The incumbent must therefore report any problems to the parties concerned and, within his responsibilities, propose solutions.
