Summary of Job

The Website Trainer, is responsible for training clients on the TAdvantage website platform.

The Trainer will ensure that the clients are prepared to effectively manage their website content, website settings, inventory, and leads. They will primarily be responsible for hosting webinars but will also provide 1on1 training when requested or on a as needed basis.

They are responsible for high client engagement for both effective product use by the client as well as their experience with Autosync. These projects contribute directly to Autosync’s revenue stream and customer engagement as measured through speed to billing, customer satisfaction, and customer churn.

The Trainer may be responsible for managing and resolving client issues during the training period. They will work with internal and external departments to determine the root cause and suggest and implement solutions in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure that the training is successful.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Conduct implementation training

1. Virtual customer training for new activations.

a. Establish and implement a training plan that is efficient with our clients. Taking into consideration dealership workflows and industry best practices.

b. Provide coaching on landing page creation and content management.

c. Help improve and maintain the quality of customer service offered to our clients.

d. Finalize and confirm all implementation setup is complete and integrations configured and satisfactory to customer’s requirements.

2. You will reinforce the sale of products and Autosync services.

a. By being in front of customers for the launch of their new website the trainer is responsible for ensuring a consistent message and approach the customer expects after the sales and onboarding process.

Impacting both customer satisfaction and customer churn.


Conduct re-training or enhanced training.

1. Provide virtual training sessions as needed for clients.

2. Refresh dealers on best practices.


Collaborate and provide operation expertise as needed.

1. Assist support and onboarding project teams as needed.

2. Help solve dealer problems with their unique customer knowledge and process expertise.

3. Handle customer escalations as needed.


Job Requirements

Please indicate if required (R), preferred (P) or asset (A)

Education, Experience and Technical skills

· Experience in the automotive industry - min 2 yrs (R)

· Expert in Website Platforms (preferably WordPress) & Training Techniques – min 1 year preferred.

· Communication skills to optimize client experience

· Experience with operational software like Wordpress, JIRA, Salesforce, MS Office Suites

· Good understanding of web technologies and their practical use on the website

Experience coding with CSS and HTML is helpful but not a requirement


Soft Skills and Competencies

· Bilingual preferred (English/French)

· Experience with training customers

· Requires strong customer focus, organizational skills, respect for others, and adaptable to change.

· Excellent communication skills- comfort level with all levels of management and large cross-functional teams.

· Strong problem-solving skills, self-started, and independent.

· Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused.
