The position is an academic appointment with a Clinician Teacher (CT) rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Expected start date is July 1, 2026, or another mutually agreeable date thereafter. Responsibilities Provide inpatient Infectious Diseases consultation services for complex patient populations across medical, surgical, oncology, and critical care services. Cover approximately 12–16 weeks of inpatient ID service each year. Practice general infectious diseases and Complex OutPatient Antibiotic Treatment (COPAT) clinic at least once per week. Run additional longitudinal clinics including ID, COPAT, and HIV. Maintain academic teaching commitments, including undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Commit to educational excellence through formal training or awards in teaching methodology. Support the division through participation in departmental meetings and educational initiatives. Qualifications MD degree. Post‑graduate certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent). Eligibility for licensure to practice in the Province of Ontario through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Demonstrated clinical expertise in assessment and management of Infectious Diseases. Advanced training and a track record of teaching accomplishments. Compensation Estimated annual remuneration: $300,000–$350,000 fee‑for‑service, commensurate with academic rank, qualifications, experience, and patient volume.
