We hire passionate team‑members from all over Canada who travel to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Nunavut. We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 4 weeks. The Work You Will Do Work in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents—from newborn to elders—through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere. Utilize observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling and health teaching according to care plans. Implement health promotion, assessments, planning and care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; primary and emergency care; travel nursing; experience creating care plans; IPAC and communicable disease control; immunizations. Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice. Why Bayshore? Who You Are Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a nursing license through the governing body in good standing. Licensed Nurse registered in good standing. Willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work. Meet the required work experience.
