Infra. Technology Cloud Specialist Location: Toronto, ON Role Overview: Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice (CIS) drives digital transformation through core modernization across layers, helping customers transform infrastructure and workplace to meet evolving needs. Mandatory skills: Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure). Expertise in network security protocols, identity management, and zero-trust architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls). Automation and Scripting (Python). Job Description: Build expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including architecture and migration strategies. Understand TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and implement zero‑trust security principles. Gain hands‑on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, Docker, and Kubernetes. Develop scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and use IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible. Use tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk for performance tuning and incident response.
