Your Role in Supporting Our Members As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will build, operate, and continuously improve the reliability, performance, security, and automation of our Azure cloud platforms while maintaining on‑premise workloads. You will design, automate, and support secure, observable, resilient, and scalable services meeting strict compliance standards. Reliability Engineering Own availability, performance, and SLIs/SLOs for key services Reduce MTTR through proactive monitoring, root cause investigation, and remediation Build automated response workflows and enhance runbooks and self‑service capabilities Lead or contribute to incident response and drive actionable post‑incident improvements Build IaC using Terraform or Bicep Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Automate deployments, scaling, configuration, and drift management Cloud Security, Governance & Compliance Deploy and manage Azure Policies, Defender for Cloud, Managed Identities, and RBAC Enforce governance through Azure Policies and Landing Zone standards Implement secure by default controls, network rules, identities, and secrets management Collaborate with InfoSec on risk reduction and audit readiness Support Azure Landing Zones, platform upgrades, and modernization efforts Contribute to cloud architecture patterns and platform reference designs Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and operational sustainability Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation Develop runbooks, automation playbooks, and self‑service tools Partner closely with Core Banking, Digital Banking, Data Platform, Architecture, DevOps, and InfoSec teams What You’ll Bring to the Team Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS, IaaS, networking, identity, storage, and governance) Strong troubleshooting instincts across networking, compute, identity, and CI/CD pipelines Experience supporting production systems in a cloud or on‑premises/hybrid environment Experience with 24x7 production operations support and troubleshooting; participation in on‑call rotation Experience automating builds and releases of workload & configuration management via Azure DevOps pipelines Required Technical Expertise Extensive experience with containers and Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or GKE VMs, VNets, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, App Service, API Management Azure integration services, Logic Apps, Function Apps Azure Event Grid Networking security (NSGs, Firewalls, WAF) PowerShell, Terraform or Bicep/ARM, NodeJS or Python Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, REST API Extra Skills That Set You Apart Databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB) Experience in regulated industries (finance, insurance, healthcare) Prior platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles Background in software engineering or platform engineering Experience supporting production systems at scale You’ll Thrive Here If You Are Analytical Problem Solver – Identifies key components, interprets information, spots patterns, and develops creative solutions. What You’ll Earn The salary range for this role is $101,200 to $124,950, depending on qualifications and experience. Employees may also be eligible for the annual incentive program subject to eligibility requirements.
