The Role We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to join our Planning & Analysis team. The Senior Manager uses analytical tools and judgment to provide decision‑making support to IG Wealth in the areas of financial analysis, forecasting and annual plan development. The Senior Manager will provide analytical oversight and expertise to business units across the organization. As part of the Finance team, this position requires strong analytical and accounting skills, a broad understanding of the business; and creative problem solving to create forecasting models, ad‑hoc analysis and presentation materials. Responsibilities Developing operational and income forecasts and presentation materials for senior management. Internal business consultancy, working with management across multiple business units to evaluate financial analysis requirements. Development and delivery of insights, recommendations and presentations to key stakeholders. Strategic business case development, internal and industry analysis and research to support business decisions and strategic initiatives under review by IG Wealth. Project management and cross‑functional coordination of activities. Development of analytical staff, within the function and across business units. Application of financial techniques/knowledge using spreadsheet and database technologies. Requirements 7+ years experience providing financial analysis in a business environment. Completion of a Business Degree, Diploma plus a Designation with a focus on Finance, i.e., Commerce, Business Administration, CFA, or CPA programs. High proficiency in PC applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database technologies. Excellent knowledge of accounting, statistics and corporate finance. This includes proven analytical skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines on a continual basis. Strong project management and implementation abilities. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver executive presentations.
