In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family asCaregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our client in Toronto.Work setting is within private home.Italian speaking Weston Rd. & Rogers // two 4 hours shifts per week As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client focused care.How you will spend your days:Basic Meal PreparationAssistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)Medication RemindersAssisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfersProviding companionship and emotional supportResponding to emergency situationsComplete daily shift reports to communicate with Case ManagersSuccess in this role:Personal Support Worker CertificateForeign NurseCurrent CPR/First Aid Certification PreferredMobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)Documentation skillsAbility to follow client care planStrong communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service skillsOur team shares the IHAL Core Values:Caring and CompassionatePatient and ThoughtfulClient FocusedReliable and ResponsibleHonest and RespectfulSkilled and ProfessionalComfort, Safety and Health FirstCommitted to Constant ImprovementCompensation:$20.00 per hour.We would like to thank all candidates for their interest in this opportunity.
