(IHAL) is seeking dedicated, caring, and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Caregivers to support our clients in the comfort of their homes. What You Should Know Location: Toronto, ON (patienthomes; 1 on 1) Shift: 4 hours up to 12 hours, days, afternoons, overnights, weekdays, weekends What You’ll Do Personal Support & Daily Care Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Support mobility, walking, and safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair) Home Support Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment Prepare and serve meals based on client preferences and dietary needs Health & Safety Assistance Provide medication reminders and help monitor daily routines Complete daily care reports and communicate observations to the Case Manager or healthcare team Companionship & Emotional Support Engage clients in meaningful conversation and provide reassurance Promote comfort, dignity, independence, and well-being What We’re Looking For PSW Certificate required Minimum 1 year of caregiving or PSW experience Language Requirement: Must be fluent in Italian Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) or Non-Violent Crisis Prevention preferred CPR/First Aid Certification required Ability to use a mobile phone for documentation and time tracking Strong verbal and written communication skills Second language is an asset Reliable, compassionate, and able to respond calmly to unexpected situations Commitment to client safety, dignity, and respect Our Core Values We look for team members who embody: Caring & Compassionate Patient & Thoughtful Client-Focused Reliable & Responsible Honest & Respectful Skilled & Professional Comfort, Safety & Health First Commitment to Growth & Improvement Why Work With IHAL?
