The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Responsibilities and Expectations The successful candidate will be expected to pursue innovative and independent research, and to establish an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program. Qualifications PhD degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related area earned by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter. Record of excellence in research and teaching. Research and teaching interests that complement and enhance the existing departmental strengths. Preferred: Undergraduate degree in engineering and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer. Evidence of research excellence demonstrated by publications in top‑ranked and field‑relevant journals or forthcoming publications meeting high international standards, research statement, conference presentations, awards, accolades, and strong referee endorsements. Evidence of excellence in teaching evident through teaching accomplishments, teaching dossier, and strong letters of reference.
