Sales Director – Canada, Public Sector - Non Federal, French Bilingual Location: Montreal (preferred) or Toronto Role OpenText – The Information Company. We partner with large organizations, delivering sophisticated, secure, high-value, and cost-effective solutions onsite, via mobile devices, private cloud, or in the cloud. Our portfolio includes Content Services, Process Automation, Experience Management, Cybersecurity, Information Exchange, and Analytics. What Youll Do (Responsibilities) Your impact as the Sales Director for Canada, Public Sector - Non Federal, will be to drive growth across the region by leading a team of high-performing account executives and cultivating strong customer relationships. You will work closely with enterprise clients to understand their business challenges and help them achieve digital transformation goals using OpenText solutions. Responsibilities include: Direct leadership of a regional enterprise sales team, focused on revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer success. Execution of sales strategies aligned with OpenText’s priorities, tailored to the Western Canadian market. Building, coaching, and mentoring a high-performance team with a focus on consultative, value-based selling. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across key enterprise accounts. Driving enterprise-scale opportunities involving cloud, AI, cyber resilience, compliance, and secure collaboration solutions. Collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. Accountability for accurate forecasting, territory planning, and operational excellence within the region. What You Need To Succeed (Qualifications) 8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and lead teams in achieving high performance. Strong knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, with experience managing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders. Established relationships within Western Canadian enterprise markets is an asset. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong business acumen, with the ability to position solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education in business or related fields is an asset. Bilingualism (English and French) is a plus. Location preferred: Montreal.
