Job Summary
The Senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for leading the design of user experiences and interfaces for our web and mobile products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the design aligns with user needs and business goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, deeply knowledgeable in user experience (UX) principles, and has a sharp eye for UI aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process : Take ownership of the UX/UI design process from concept to completion, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- User-Centered Design : Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Translate insights into design solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements with business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop design systems : Create and maintain design systems and UI style guides to ensure consistency across platforms and products.
- Prototype & Testing : Build interactive prototypes for user testing and iterate based on feedback. Conduct usability tests to validate design decisions.
- Design Handoff : Ensure smooth handoff to development teams by providing clear design specifications and participating in design reviews.
- Stay Current : Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously bring innovation to your designs.
Qualifications
- Experience : 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision , or similar platforms.
- Proficient in prototyping tools such as Marvel, Axure, or Principle .
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics is a plus.
- User Research : Strong understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Collaboration : Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Problem Solving : Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on creating intuitive, user-centered designs.
- Design Systems : Experience creating and managing design systems to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
