Job Summary: Insight Global is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The candidate will have a background in business analysis, enabling them to assess the broader implications of technology initiatives on business operations. This role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, along with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis with a focus on EDI systems.
  • Strategize on the integration and optimization of technology within business processes.
  • Utilize analytical tools and software to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communicate complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and define project scopes.
  • Document business processes and create detailed business requirement documents.
  • Troubleshoot EDI systems, ensuring their optimal performance and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Understand and evaluate business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Analyze and map out business processes to understand the workflow and identify bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with IT and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with EDI transactions.
  • Review EDI system performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements for system improvements.
  • Provide support and guidance on the use of EDI systems to internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, with a strong emphasis on EDI.
  • Expertise in analytical tools and software.
  • Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Knowledge of automation processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system integration.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
