Join Litens Human Resources team as a Training & Development Specialist. The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for organizing, coordinating and/or facilitating employee training and development activities. This position also supports the assessment of employee developmental needs to drive employee training initiatives, including the development and/or implementation of initiatives to enhance workforce performance. Recommends, designs, and standardizes Litens T&D programs, key processes, and services Support the creation, preparation and execution of leadership development activities and related programs Actively supports and recommends improvements and development of all T&D related programs and processes to ensure best-in-class programs Partner with leadership to identify and address workforce development needs Coaches and supports local HR in the delivery of T&D initiatives Lead, coordinate and/or facilitate all relevant continual improvement projects linked to T&D initiatives Perform other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion to support organizational direction Teach others throughout the organization how to teach effectively - train the trainer Ensure training is put into practice supporting the organizational direction Evaluate and update training and development programs as required Support the delivery of training solutions with external training providers or internal instructors Conduct facilitation / training programs Monitor to ensure qualifications are reviewed at required intervals for accuracy Maintains knowledge of developments in the area of training & development Maintains knowledge of government assistance to make training more available, cost effective or efficiently administered What will you bring? Post-secondary education in related field Must be comfortable working with all levels of the organization Must be able to work well independently or with others Must be comfortable managing multiple projects Be willing to work overtime; may be required to work different shifts Must be willing to travel and maintain a valid passport Minimum 3 years work experience in training and development or Human Resources Experience in program design, development and facilitation Familiar with adult education concepts and tools Strong coaching background Additional Information Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 Recruitment Technology: Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.
