The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for organizing, coordinating and/orfacilitating employee training and development activities. This position also supports the assessment of employee developmental needs to drive employee training initiatives,including the development and/or implementation of initiatives to enhance workforce performance.At Litens, you can make an impact. Accommodations for disabilities in relation to the job selection process are available upon request.What will you do?Recommends, designs, and standardizes Litens T&D programs, key processes, and servicesSupport the creation, preparation and execution of leadership development activities and related programsActively supports and recommends improvements and development of all T&D related programs and processes to ensure best-in-class programsPartner with leadership to identify and address workforce development needsCoaches and supports local HR in the delivery of T&D initiativesLead, coordinate and/or facilitate all relevant continual improvement projects linked to T&D initiativesPerform other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion to support organizational directionTeach others throughout the organization how to teach effectively - train the trainerEnsure training is put into practice supporting the organizational directionEvaluate and update training and development programs as requiredSupport the delivery of training solutions with external training providers or internal instructorsConduct facilitation / training programsMonitor to ensure qualifications are reviewed at required intervals for accuracyMaintains knowledge of developments in the area of training & developmentMaintains knowledge of government assistance to make training more available, cost effective or efficiently administeredWhat will you bring?Post-secondary education in related fieldMust be comfortable working with all levels of the organizationMust be able to work well independently or with othersMust be comfortable managing multiple projectsBe willing to work overtime; may be required to work different shiftsMust be willing to travel and maintain a valid passportMinimum 3 years work experience in training and development or Human ResourcesExperience in program design, development and facilitationFamiliar with adult education concepts and toolsStrong coaching backgroundAdditional InformationCompensation: $80,000 - $95,000Recruitment Technology: Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.Accommodations for disabilities in relation to the job selection process are available upon request. #J-18808-Ljbffr
