Role Overview VegOttawa is seeking a creative, reliable Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help grow our online presence. The Coordinator will create engaging content, maintain a consistent posting schedule, and foster a positive, welcoming community across our social platforms. Key Responsibilities Create visually appealing social media graphics and posts using Canva Manage and schedule posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more) Write clear, engaging captions aligned with VegOttawa’s tone and mission Support basic content planning tied to campaigns, events, and community initiatives Engage with followers through comments and messages Track basic analytics to learn what content performs best Collaborate with VegOttawa team members on promotions, events, and campaigns Skills & Qualifications Experience using Canva for social media content Familiarity with major social platforms and best practices Strong written communication skills Creative mindset and eye for design Ability to work independently and meet flexible deadlines Interest in plant-based living, sustainability, or community advocacy is an asset (not required) What You’ll Gain Hands‑on experience in social media coordination and digital content creation Portfolio‑building opportunities through ongoing content work A chance to support Ottawa’s plant‑based community and make a positive impact Collaboration with a friendly, mission‑driven volunteer team How to Apply Please email a brief introduction, relevant experience, and any sample work (if available) to . #J-18808-Ljbffr
