Sales Associate, Instacart Business Join Instacart as a Sales Associate in the Instacart Business segment, a fast‑growing team focused on expanding our B2B grocery and supply‑chain solutions. Overview The Instacart Business segment is in a hyper‑growth stage and we need a world‑class Sales Associate to build and scale our outbound engine. You will operate under ambiguity, think forward‑looking, and manage mid‑size to enterprise customers with a consultative approach while shaping product offerings and sales strategy through feedback. About the Team The Instacart Business & Supply Chain Team’s vision is to become the leading technology provider for driving growth and efficiency across the food and beverage supply chain. We focus on serving businesses that require flexible spending and unplanned needs for food and beverages, and we also build enterprise‑grade products to capture deeper share of wallet. About The Job Drive sales execution: manage the full sales cycle from setting commercials to closing deals, ensuring alignment with Instacart’s vision and objectives. Consultative selling: engage with top‑tier decision makers to position Instacart as a trusted advisor and preferred partner. Strategic account management: optimize existing partnerships through strong oversight and account management practices to maximize value and foster long‑term growth. Strategic feedback utilization: gather and relay insights from business partners to product, marketing and operations teams for continuous improvement. Data‑driven strategies: use analytics to inform decisions and adapt strategies to meet the demands of large‑scale partners. About You Minimum Qualifications Proven experience: 2+ years in account management or business development (startup/B2B sales preferred). Strategic sales skills: demonstrated ability to execute sales strategies that significantly impact business outcomes. Exceptional communication: articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Adaptability and drive: thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments and act as a self‑starter and solution‑oriented problem solver. Negotiation mastery: strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals. Preferred Qualifications Technical proficiency: comfort with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems like Salesforce and data analysis for pipeline building. Startup experience: background in fast‑paced, early‑stage innovation‑driven company settings. Instacart offers highly competitive compensation and benefits. This role is remote; base pay varies by location and is reviewed annually. The position includes a Sales Incentive Plan and equity grants.
