Prepare customer print files with Adobe Creative Suite and digital printing expertise in person at TPH’s Scarborough production centre. Produce accurate orders for customer specifications and production schedules.
TPH seeks a full-time, permanent Digital Printing Imaging Specialist for its Scarborough, Ontario location. This role prepares files, operates advanced digital printing equipment, and manages workflows from pre-press through finishing. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with 40 expected hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer supplied print files for press
- Follow work-order specifications for printing orders
- Operate and maintain advanced digital printing equipment
- Monitor print quality throughout production
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete finishing workflows
Requirements:
- Experience with digital printers and DFEs
- Experience with Fiery, Xerox, or Konica Minolta
- Experience with CMYK and Pantone colour matching
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and pre-flight processes
- Knowledge of substrates and paper stocks is an asset
