Lead grocery and front-end shifts at Peninsula Co-op’s Food Centre in Saanichton, using customer service and reliable team leadership daily.
This full-time Shift Supervisor position offers 40 hours weekly at 2132 Keating XRd. You will support daily operations while coaching team members, assisting customers, and maintaining safe, organized standards. The work includes stocking, merchandising, equipment operation, and age-restricted product regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and support daily grocery operations
- Coach team members and communicate performance concerns clearly
- Assist customers confidently throughout the Food Centre
- Stock and merchandise shelves accurately
- Maintain clean, organized, safe site conditions
Requirements:
- Availability mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and any weekday
- Friendly, helpful, customer-focused approach
- Confident, reliable leadership supporting the team
- Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations
