Quality Control Technician

**Job Title: Quality Control Technician****Job Description**Join a leading electronics manufacturer as a Quality Control Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This position involves quality checks on inventory, assembling batteries, and collaborating with a dedicated team to maintain high standards.**Responsibilities**Receive inventory from vendors and flag for inspection.Inspect inventory and review drawing specifications.Measure components using calipers, multimeter, and tape measure.Log inspection results in the system and collaborate on rejected items.Assemble batteries using small hand tools following written and picture instructions.Crimp lugs on wires and follow wiring procedures.Build and interconnect final assemblies and sub-assemblies using production drawings.Obtain parts and supplies using proper procedures.Complete necessary paperwork and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.**Essential Skills**Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Experience with quality assurance processes.Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and multimeters.Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.At least 1 year of QA experience in a similar role.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Experience in electronics or electrical industry is preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.**Why Work Here?**This role offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent position with comprehensive benefits including extended health, vision, and dental coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, and a group RRSP.
