CNC Programmer Plainsman Mfg. Inc., Edmonton, Alberta – Base pay range: CA$35.00/hr – CA$42.00/hr Overview Join a fast‑paced manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer. You will program, set‑up, and operate our CNC machines while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Responsibilities Program and set‑up CNC machines. Adhere to quality, health & safety regulations. Analyze job orders and determine material cuts. Calculate cutting locations and machining steps. Define sequence of machining steps. Select tools, speeds, feeds, and fixtures. Communicate with other programmers, shop floor management, machinists, operators, engineering, and sales staff to achieve production goals. Qualifications / Experience Mastercam Experience. Fusion 360 Experience. FANUC Controls. HAAS Controls. OKUMA Controls. Set‑up experience on lathes and mills. Ability to read and write English. CNC milling and programming – 5 years preferred.
