Overview NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions. It delivers acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million, and 2.2 million when regional and national services are included. Shift Pattern 12‑hour shifts, day and night. The department works on rotational 12‑hour shifts, including weekends, with staff able to self‑roster. Full‑time positions (37hrs) are available and part‑time hours can also be considered. Requirements Applicants must have a Live PIN with NMC.UK and relevant experience. Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours. About the Role Exciting opportunity to join the Emergency Department at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. The department is dynamic and evolving, seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurses to join the team. Responsibilities Work well within the multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of patient‑focused care. Maintain high professional standards and excellent communication skills. Be self‑motivated and ready to develop clinical skills with support from strong leadership and the dedicated nurse education team. Working Hours & Pay Full‑time positions (37hr week) are available. As of 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change will reduce the full‑time working week to 36 hours with a pro‑rata reduction for part‑time hours; however, hourly rates will be increased so pay is not affected.
