Shift Pattern 12‑hour shifts (Day/Night) on a rotational basis, including weekends. Opportunity Exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Emergency Department in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. The Emergency Department is a dynamic and evolving speciality. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurses to join our amazing team. Responsibilities Work well within the multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of patient‑focused care. Maintain high professional standards and excellent communication skills. Be self‑motivated and ready to develop clinical skills with the support of our strong leadership and dedicated nurse education team. Team Culture Despite being a busy department, we are friendly and approachable with a positive relationship across the whole team. We are excited to welcome new members to our existing team. Working Hours Full‑time positions (37 hours) are available and part‑time hours can be considered. Staff can self‑roster. As from 1 April 2026 the agenda for change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week; part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so pay will not be affected.
