Vice President – Health, Education, Social and Community Services and Membership Organizations Responsible for leading organizational strategy, policy formulation, and resource allocation across various social service and non‑profit settings. Overview Languages: English Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of senior leadership experience in social service, charity agency, associations or non‑profit organizations. Budgetary responsibility for $1,500,001 – $4,000,000. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). CPR and First Aid certification. Valid driver’s licence; own vehicle; willing to travel. Responsibilities Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. Co‑ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments. Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs. Represent or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in negotiations or official functions. Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate authority and create optimum working conditions. Provide staff training and development. Plan and coordinate social services, apprenticeship training, and community service programs. Oversee finances or budget management and ensure compliance with government regulations. Coach and coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs. Develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs. Identify human resources requirements and manage benefits administration. Make decisions on tests and procedures, and direct the delivery of social and community service programs. Develop social programs. Supervision 5‑10 people. Personal Suitability Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication.
