Who are YOU in this role? The Sales Executive thrives in a fast paced environment. This person is calm under pressure, and has a strong background in sales, prospecting and client retention. This person is highly driven, motivated and systematic and can pivot to the ever changing industry of transportation. This person would have a strong understanding of sales, particularly in the transportation industry. They are looking for a position that allows for unlimited growth with no ceiling or commission cap and an opportunity to learn and gain autonomy over their day to day tasks while contributing to the companies growth and wins. This person loves to follow a proven process, apply it to their arsenal of experience and watch it work. This individual would truly embody a growth mindset and a team mentality. What will YOU do? Prospecting for companies who manufacture, distribute and/ or ship freight throughout North America Introducing yourself to companies in our vast database of already vetted shippers and manufactures Seeking and identifying business opportunities within new and current customers Building and maintaining customer relationships Cold calling and/or cold emailing prospects to initiate introductions Collaborating with our CFO to set up discovery calls and in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers Monitoring changes and trends in customer volume behaviour and following up to determine areas for improvement and growth Being accountable to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Knowledge/Skills 3+ Years in any Sales Role (transportation or 3PL preferred) Established book of business preferred but not required Background in Freight Brokering considered an asset More about YOU You are an expert at bypassing gatekeepers, identifying decision makers, and opening doors for new opportunity You are a self-starter, able to work independently, and are incentive-driven Prospecting and farming for new business, while maintaining and strengthening your current database of customers fuels your passion for sales and growth Cultivating long standing customer relationships plays on your strengths, including being able to efficiently handle challenges and use emotional intelligence to guide your interactions You are a problem solver and calm under pressure. When a situation presents you with a challenge you don’t give up or panic, instead you remain calm while the wheels start turning to generate solutions You are an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate the services you are offering You are comfortable and confident speaking with prospects in all environments Your are not a complacent individual. You don’t believe in getting comfortable. You want to constantly be growing your book of business and pushing the needle further and further. DISCLAIMER This is a non-salary position. This position only applies to individuals seeking a COMMISSION ONLY position. On Time Events & Logistics Inc is currently offering the HIGHEST COMMISSION PERCENTAGE of any of its competitors in the 3PL market place. This position is suited for agressive, incentive driven individuals who are looking for unlimited growth with no ceiling or commission cap.
