Senior Business Analyst Job Location: Ottawa, ON Job Type: Contract LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 9-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work 2-3 days/week at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON. Security Requirement Must hold a Government of Enhanced Reliability Clearance. Key Tasks Analyze and translate business needs: Gather, document, and analyze data requirements, supporting the development of a data dictionary that covers HR, Finance and procurement processes. Support the prioritization of data assessment work, and establishment and alignment of a corrective action plan. Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with the HR, Finance, Procurement, Data and Process teams to ensure alignment between process development and data inventory. Foster cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, management, Line of Business SMEs, and team members to ensure artifacts are clearly understood. Support the data readiness deliverables: Contribute to the deliverables required to support business readiness for an ERP implementation, including deliverable review and preparation, governance content preparation, action plans (Process, Data, Governance, Change, Design & Roadmap) Enable Delivery Readiness: Support the initiative team by highlighting risks, dependencies, and deliverable timelines. Collaborating with leads to ensure business value is delivered by effectively managing risks and dependencies effectively. Key Qualifications Undergraduate Degree in Commerce, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar position 2+ years of experience working within a digital journey or digitalization project(s) Qualifications Experience with data and process inventory/design work Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Assets BA Certification such as IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) or IIBA Agile Analysis Certificate or willingness to obtain Experience with modern ERP’s and large transformation programs Experience working in Finance, HR and/or Procurement portfolios Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Founded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
