Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Winnipeg is hiring a Structural Engineering Manager.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leads, oversees, and coordinates structural engineering production activities, with a focus on bridge design and construction, but also covering a range of structural infrastructure projects. Leads and manages a team of professional engineers, engineering technologists, and drafting staff. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery. Makes authoritative decisions and recommendations on complex engineering challenges. Engages with senior-level management and stakeholders, demonstrating strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Manages multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals while maintaining technical excellence. Demonstrates strategic thinking and problem-solving in project planning, execution, and operational objectives. Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company best practices. Leads proposals and pursuits of new work, including marketing to new and existing clients. Supervision is primarily administrative, with assignments defined by broad objectives and project requirements. QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 10+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, including bridge design and construction 2+ years of leadership experience Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation Preferred Qualifications:15+ years of experience in structural engineering Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of structural analysis software and design codes Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers Additional InformationSponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
