Payroll Specialist ADP We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources Outsourcing department. This role supports a wide variety of payroll and tax-related questions and issues presented by Client Payroll Administrators. Responsibilities Manage client payroll, accountable for the payroll and audit functions of multiple clients. Oversee scheduling and running the assigned client payrolls following standard operating procedures, balance payrolls based on the year‑end calendar, remit all third‑party remittances by defined due dates, and complete all year‑end balancing, filing and reporting. Serve as the subject‑matter expert. Provide critical and accurate statutory information to clients in the payroll area, such as tax filing. Use knowledge bases, resource materials and appropriate websites to locate answers and solutions for issues. Use internal tools and defined processes to ensure optimal productivity and service excellence and make recommendations for best practices to customers. Problem‑solver. Work with internal technical support, various production departments and additional ADP Service hubs to identify a resolution. Provide feedback and suggestions on products, issues, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement. Develop knowledge. Maintain NPI (National Payroll Institute) designation & attend all required departmental training sessions as well as demonstrate proficiency in learning. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll processing experience. Minimum 5 years client service experience. Advanced internet and MS Office skills (Word/Excel) required. Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions/processes. Excellent client service skills. Preferred Qualifications Post‑secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience in administration/client service/HR. Working toward or have National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification (PCP, CPM). ADP offers tuition reimbursement and annual membership reimbursement. Compensation Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is CAD $57,900.00 – CAD $92,500.00 / Year*.
