The Senior Project Manager – Steam Power – Nuclear will lead project management, planning and coordination of services projects that fulfill GE Vernova’s customer outage requirements for the Nuclear Power Business. The role focuses on executing outage activities, ensuring financial/commercial success, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide project leadership and guidance from conception through delivery, and conduct project feedback reviews at appropriate times. Develop and manage project costs with ongoing estimates to completion. Plan and manage project schedules and payment milestones, providing contingency planning to ensure timely delivery. Manage contractual scope content and keep all stakeholders informed. Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders—internal, external, customers, peers, engineering and global teams—while maintaining excellent relationships. Serve as the focal point for project‑based activities and perform related duties as assigned or requested. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or a related technical discipline. At least 10 years of experience in the power generation or industrial manufacturing industry. At least 5 years of relevant project management experience within the same industry. Eligibility Requirements Unescorted access to a nuclear power facility in Canada or the U.S. Travel up to 30% of the time, domestically and internationally. Valid passport and ability to work at customer sites as required. Desired Characteristics P.Eng. certification (Canada) or P.E. license (U.S.) PMP certification Experience with steam power systems in nuclear, fossil or industrial power plant settings. Practical knowledge of GE Vernova products a plus. Adaptability to evolving technology and processes. Strong time‑management and detail‑orientation skills. Clear, quantitative, results‑oriented decision maker. Excellent facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and knowledge of Primavera P6. Customer‑focused mindset with strong verbal and written communication. Compensation & Benefits U.S. pay range: $119,600 – $199,400, plus performance bonus, variable incentive compensation and equity. Geographic differentials of 110%–130% may apply.
