Canada Orium Full time

About Orium Orium builds smart, modern commerce solutions that help enterprise brands move faster and stay ahead. By bringing together AI, data, and composable systems, we create experiences designed for collaboration between people and intelligent agents— helping our clients work more efficiently, adapt quickly, and gain a long‑term competitive edge. With more composable launches than any firm in the Americas and deep expertise across commerce architecture, we partner with leading technology providers to deliver scalable solutions that evolve with our clients and accelerate time to value. We blend systems thinking, data‑driven design, and intelligent delivery, embedding AI and agents into our own teams to move faster, reduce friction, and co‑create with greater precision. The result: adaptive, cross‑channel experiences that keep our clients ahead of what’s next. About the Contract Engagement Orium is building a bench of Senior Product Management contractors to support future, project‑based enterprise digital commerce engagements across discovery, delivery, and optimization. Senior Product Manager consultants support complex digital initiatives for enterprise clients, contributing to the strategy, planning, and execution of sophisticated digital experiences. Consultants work with a high degree of autonomy, partnering directly with client stakeholders and cross‑functional product, design, engineering, and data teams in fast‑moving, multi‑stakeholder environments. Engagements are suited to experienced product practitioners who are comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying best‑in‑class product practices and modern delivery approaches—including the thoughtful use of AI—to drive high‑quality, impactful outcomes. Engagement Structure: Contract Length: Typically 3–6 months per engagement (extensions or future engagements may be offered based on project needs) Time Commitment: Full‑time or fractional, depending on project scope Scope of Services As a contractor, you may be engaged to provide the following services, depending on project needs: Client Leadership & Strategy Act as a primary product contact for client engagements, supporting product vision, roadmap direction, and delivery priorities from discovery through launch. Act as a strategic consultant, identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions that balance business goals, user value, technical considerations, and budget. Plan and facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and structured decision‑making frameworks to build alignment across stakeholders. Provide subject‑matter expertise in eCommerce, headless CMS, composable architectures, and modern digital platforms. Travel Requirement: Occasional travel across the Americas to meet with clients and partners. Planning & Requirements Build and maintain clear, data‑informed release plans and prioritization frameworks. Be responsible for managing the product backlog, ensuring user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and constraints are clearly defined and up to date. Produce high‑quality product requirements documentation, including functional, non‑functional, and data requirements. Translate complex or ambiguous problem spaces into clear, actionable steps for cross‑functional teams. Delivery & Execution Support end‑to‑end delivery across discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, execution, acceptance, and launch preparation. Collaborate closely with design, technology, and data teams to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, and ensure shared understanding. Support budget management and provide transparent forecasting, burn insights, and ROI‑driven prioritization. Facilitate delivery ceremonies and present progress, risks, and decisions to clients and relevant stakeholders. Navigate trade‑offs across scope, schedule, budget, and quality, escalating with clear recommendations and paths forward when required. Skills and Qualifications 6+ years of experience providing product management or product leadership services, ideally in consulting, agency, or client‑services environments. Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi‑stream digital initiatives end‑to‑end. Strong executive‑level communication, facilitation, and stakeholder advisory skills. Experience with eCommerce platforms, headless CMS, composable architectures, and modern digital ecosystems. Proven ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver structured outcomes in fast‑moving environments. Comfort using AI tools to support research, documentation, planning, and scenario analysis. How We Use AI at Orium Orium is committed to using AI to strengthen how we deliver for clients and evolve our ways of working. We approach AI with curiosity and critical thinking, looking for practical ways to improve quality, efficiency, and creativity while maintaining sound human judgment. Everyone plays a role in advancing our AI maturity, whether that means improving delivery workflows, shaping better client experiences, or experimenting with new approaches that raise the bar for our craft. Compensation and Hiring Transparency Compensation: Contract rates are determined based on experience, engagement scope, duration, and time commitment. Rate discussions will take place during initial conversations. Use of AI in Hiring: To keep the process efficient and focused on human connection, we use AI‑enabled and automated tools for tasks like candidate communications and scheduling, interview note‑taking, and summarizing feedback for hiring teams. Our recruiters and hiring managers review all information, and humans make every hiring decision. Independent Contractor Relationship: This role is offered exclusively as an independent contractor engagement and does not constitute an offer of employment. Contractors are responsible for their own business expenses, insurance, taxes, and statutory obligations, and may provide services to other clients during the engagement, subject to confidentiality obligations. Committed to an Inclusive Workplace We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment as we build a workforce that reflects the diversity of the community in which we live, including those with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing accommodations in all parts of the hiring process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code. If you require any accommodation, we will work with you to meet your needs. Committed to Social and Environmental Stewardship Orium is committed to promoting and working towards a more socially and environmentally sustainable future. All individuals engaged by Orium are expected to make decisions and take actions in relation to their role and work that follow through on this commitment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
