Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Victoria, BC for a Lawyer. The Lawyer will be responsible for handling cases related to Real Estate and Property Law; Personal Planning, Wills and Estates. Any experience in Corporate law is a bonus. We are replacing a lawyer that is retiring. Daily tasks include client consultations, legal research, document drafting, representing clients in negotiations, reviewing and advising on real estate purchase/sale and refinances, providing legal advice with regard to personal planning document and/or Estate issues. Qualifications Expertise in Real Estate and Property Law, Wills, Personal planning and Estates as a base for clients. Any experience in Family Law or Corporate law is also welcome. Strong research and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Membership in the Law Society of British Columbia and in good standing Previous experience in a similar legal role is a plus Expected salary can range from $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 per annum depending on experience and the amount of client's brought in to firm. We are looking to replace a lawyer so there will be client's of ours that require assistance.
