Commercial Development Director

- 10+ years’ experience in progressive engineering, land or business roles in the energy industry, including 3+ years in a commercial development role.
- Experience in a management role, partnering with employees from multiple related companies.
- Experience leading the successful development of at least one comprehensive investor data room containing skillfully curated technical, economic and environmental materials.
- Ability to compose a logical and persuasive story that provides a unified and compelling value proposition to investors.
- Excellent project management, contracting, negotiating and change management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in a concise, compelling and diplomatic manner.
- Proven negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to overcome obstacles to cooperation and to foster harmonious
- Able to work effectively with people in technical and business roles both inside and outside the organization, building consensus, rallying support around common goals and motivating teams and individuals.
- Strong knowledge of the energy technology area specifically and the global energy industry generally.
- Strategic/business planning and execution capabilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
