The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise‑level infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Intel‑based systems, virtualization technologies, Windows environments, and enterprise management tools. This role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security across critical systems while supporting capacity planning and operational excellence across development, testing, and production environments. This role also includes managing digital certificates, enforcing security compliance, and providing 24 x 7 on‑call support. As a trusted technical leader, you’ll take ownership of the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of systems infrastructure, including: Intel Systems – Administer and maintain Intel‑based server systems and VMware ESXi environments. Manage VMware vCenter and VMware Aria Operations for virtual infrastructure monitoring and optimisation. Windows & Directory Services – Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments. Manage Domain Controllers and Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policies, and security configurations. Endpoint Toolkit Management – Deploy and maintain enterprise endpoint toolkits such as IBM Data Studio, Rational Software Architect, DB2 Connect, PowerBI Desktop, and QMF Workstation. Performance & Capacity Management – Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability. Analyze trends and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements. Security & Compliance – Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards across all systems. Implement and maintain access controls and audit mechanisms within Active Directory and VMware environments. Collaboration & Support – Work closely with application teams, database administrators, and business stakeholders to support operational needs. Required Technical And Professional Experience Strong experience with Intel‑based systems and VMware ESXi virtualization. Proficiency in Windows Server, Domain Controllers, and Active Directory administration. Hands‑on experience with VMware vCenter and VMware Aria Operations. Familiarity with endpoint toolkits such as IBM Data Studio, Rational Software Architect, DB2 Connect, PowerBI Desktop, and QMF Workstation. Expertise in performance monitoring and capacity management methodologies. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or equivalent. Experience in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar). Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise change management. Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
