Senior CAD Designer We are looking for a Senior CAD Designer within our Infrastructure sector. You will work on diverse land development projects across Alberta and Canada, benefiting from a robust mentorship network that supports your professional growth. Primary Responsibilities Create and modify CAD drawings including site plans, block profiles, and cross sections using Autodesk Civil 3D. Prepare site grading plans, underground sewer and watermain layouts, and erosion & sediment management plans. Support earthworks volume analysis and cross‑section review. Assist stormwater teams with overland and minor‑system models and drawings. Adhere to quality control workflows and processes to ensure consistent, high‑quality deliverables. Coordinate with other engineers and technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team. Mentor team members, delegate tasks, and support career growth of junior staff. Ensure drafting standards meet current design and client standards, guidelines, and other requirements. Qualifications Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Minimum of 6 years experience in land development and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, including alignments, corridors, pipe networks, surfaces, and grading tools. Experience with City of Calgary CAD standards and design requirements is an asset. Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, including site grading, water, sanitary, and storm sewer servicing, and eagerness to expand knowledge. Collaborative team player who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team. Detail‑oriented with pride in deliverables. Eager to learn continuously and work with a mentor.
