We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Capital Markets for one of our banking clients. This role is pivotal in driving key projects, optimizing processes, and providing strategic analysis to enhance our market position.


Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will leverage their deep knowledge of Capital Markets to lead and execute complex projects, analyze financial data, and develop solutions that address business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of financial instruments, trading systems, and regulatory requirements, along with exceptional analytical and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Requirements Gathering: Facilitate sessions to collect and document business requirements, objectives, and challenges.
  • Analyze Business Needs: Conduct thorough analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and potential solutions.
  • Develop Specifications: Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, and business cases to guide solution development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and external partners, managing expectations and facilitating collaboration.
  • Project Management Support: Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines; monitor progress and address issues to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Validate Solutions: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Assess current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and documentation; maintain accurate records of requirements and project changes.
  • Strategic Insight: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Identify and manage project risks, including regulatory and compliance risks; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices; advocate for and implement best practices in business analysis and project management.


Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CBAP) are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in the Capital Markets domain.


Skills :

  • In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, trading systems, and market regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver strategic insights.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with Capital Markets software and systems (e.g., trading platforms, risk management systems).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and relevant business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
