Role Summary

As a Business Analyst & Technical Solution

Architect, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs

and technical solutions. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking,

technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to work effectively

with diverse teams and stakeholders.


Key Skills and Experience


Architecture Experience

  • Articulate the purpose and value of architecture within an organization.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to
  • Develop and maintain architecture vision and blueprints.
  • Participate in Architecture Review Boards.
  • Define and enforce architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Manage the intake process for new technology and project requests.


Architecture Tool Experience   

  • Experience working with Architecture/Modeling Tools (e.g., LeanIX, EA Sparx, and similar tools).
  • Business Analysis Experience
  • Analyze and document value chains and business models.
  • Analyze products and services.
  • Document business capabilities processes, and organizational structures.


Asset Portfolio Management for Applications & Infrastructure

  • Manage a comprehensive list of applications.     
  • Conduct owner discovery and onboarding.
  • Perform application surveys and mapping/linking.
  • Analyze application costs and document integration data flows.
  • Document IT infrastructure.


Integration

  • Experience with application integration.


Technology Risk

  • Manage technical risks such as legacy technologies and aging infrastructure.
  • Develop solution architecture and design to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare business cases and roadmaps to address and reduce risks.


Technology Architecture & Rationalization / Modernization

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and rationalization.
  • Develop business cases, standards, guidelines, and solution architecture & design.
  • Create and manage roadmaps for technology modernization.


Facilitation Skills

  • Facilitate meetings with diverse groups of both business and technical teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.   
  • 10+ years of experience in a business analyst role and technical architecture.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and requirements analysis.
  • Proficiency in system architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with the full lifecycle of software development.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex enterprise solutions.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Solution Architecture (TOGAF, Azure, GCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
