Overview Richview’s mission is to joyfully lead people—including kids—into a growing relationship with Jesus. This role is all about creating wondrous, fun, engaging opportunities for children to come into contact with the God of the universe through His word, His Spirit, and His Body, the church. You’ll lead, develop, and partner with parents, volunteers, and staff to create spaces where kids are loved, secured, encouraged, and excited to discover life with Jesus. Responsibilities Develop vision and specific goals for Children’s Ministry in partnership with Lead Pastor and Elders. Oversee nursery, pre‑school, JK/SK, and student ministries up to grade 6, providing opportunities on Sunday, throughout the week, Summer Camp, and outreach events. Develop teams of volunteers and parents to participate in and lead ministry with an emphasis on community, relationships, and spiritual growth. Equip and encourage parents to nurture their children in the Lord at home. Oversee and organize supplies, curriculum, materials, and the physical spaces of Children’s Ministry. Be involved and engaged in the church’s ministry as a whole. Qualifications Follower of Christ, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit. Experience in church ministry and working with children. Bachelor’s degree in theology, children’s education, related teaching field, or equivalent certification. Agreement with Richview’s Articles of Faith and Statement of Biblical Morality, among other official documents. Benefits 5% RRSP Contribution 3 Weeks Paid Vacation Start Date is Negotiable – No earlier than Jan 1, and no later than Jan 1. 40 hrs / week, with the expectation of flexibility from week to week.
