Position Overview Matalco Canada Inc. is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer. The role is based at the Brampton facility and involves all aspects of electrical engineering, including daily supervision of electricians and ensuring continuous equipment availability. Responsibilities Commit to health & safety, complying with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and promoting a safe workplace. Deliver quality products while adhering to quality and environmental policies; recommend process improvements. Contribute to the development of procedures, systems, and controls; maintain overall reliability of electrical equipment with 24/7 on‑call support. Coach and develop employees, managing performance and scheduling maintenance. Implement departmental policies and manage process improvement projects to meet performance targets. Plan circuits, power distribution and conduct testing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering or equivalent experience. 1–3 years of experience in electrical or automation engineering in an industrial environment. Proven leadership, mentoring, and employee development skills. Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
